New Delhi, Jan. Ajay Devgan’s ‘Runway 34’ and Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 are going to have a big clash at the box office tomorrow. Although both the actors have their own fan following, it will be very difficult to say who will prevail over whom. But looking at their booking, it is being speculated that Tiger’s Heropanti is running faster than Ajay Devgan’s runway.
Mumbai
Mumbai has been a stronghold for both Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn, but for now, young action star Tiger seems to be beating Ajay Devgn in the first day bookings. Heropanti 2 currently has around 25% shows full with housefull occupancy, some multiplexes filling all shows in fast mode. Runway 34, on the other hand, is showing a sluggish response with only one or two shows in fast mode.
Delhi-NCR
Here, Tiger’s film seems to be slowing down a bit compared to Mumbai, with multiplexes attracting more viewers. There is no discussion of Ajay’s film here, not even a single show is almost completely full.
Bangalore
Despite KGF Chapter 2 dominating here, Heropanti 2 is showing good response in advance bookings on the first day. As of now, about 15% of shows are filling up fast. For the Ajay Devgn starrer, the scenario is completely different with none of the shows filling the fast mode.
Hyderabad
Only 14 shows in Hyderabad have been opened for advance booking so far, out of which 5 are showing close to housefull occupancy for Tiger’s film. In filling fast mode, the runway is showing just one show.
Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad is currently languishing for the Heropanti sequel. The same is the case with Runway 34.
Chennai
In Chennai, 10-15% shows are filling up fast for Heropanti 2. Ajay Devgan starrer has managed to fill only about 5-10% of the shows.
Pune
Pune is filling around 10-15% fast shows for Tiger Shroff’s film, and bookings are expected to increase at the moment. Not a single filling fast show for Ajay’s film.
Kolkata
For Heropanti sequel, Kolkata is the best performing circuit, with 40-45% of the shows already in fast mode. There is no movement in the advance booking of Ajay Devgan starrer here.
