However, the Meteorological Department has also predicted rain on Saturday. The Meteorological Department said that in the month of May, there is a possibility of normal temperature in Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Ladakh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat.
Dr. M. Mohapatra, Director General, Meteorological Department said, ‘We have seen that in the last two months (March and April) the temperature in the central parts of the country was above normal temperature. The temperature in Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh was 4 degree Celsius above normal.
Mohapatra, Director General of the Meteorological Department further said, ‘In the last 122 years, this time in the month of April, the central and north-west part of the country had the highest temperature.’ He said that the north-west part of the country recorded 35.90 degrees Celsius and 37.78 degrees Celsius in the central part. According to IMD, there is a possibility of above normal rainfall in most parts of the country. Dr. Mohapatra said, ‘There is every possibility of normal and above rains in most parts of the country except some parts of Northwest and Northeast.
Even in the capital Delhi, the sun is showing its glory. People are facing a lot of problems due to the rise in temperature here. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature of Delhi is currently 40.8 degree Celsius. At the same time, the director of the Madhya Pradesh Meteorological Center said, ‘Right now, the maximum temperature of the day has reached 45.6 degree Celsius in many districts of the state. When the temperature goes above 40, we consider it as ‘Loo’. Due to wind in Bhopal, the temperature is likely to remain in the range of 42 to 43 degree Celsius today and for a day or two.
